Recording studio
ArtBoyz recording studio is a professionally equipped space created for sound production and post-production. The studio was built with the greatest care to meet the expectations of the most demanding customers.
Audio Engineering Room
In our recording studio you can feel like being teleported to a mountain hut in the middle of Warsaw. In our recording room, total surface of 15 m2 we reached an approximate reverberation time = 0,15 s.
Ceiling covered mostly with wood, mineral wool and a diffuser. QRD 2D N13 tuned to 1224-3822 Hz. Additional diffusers QRD 2D N17 and two QRD 1D N17 tuned to 612 and 1224 Hz respectively, hang on the rear wall for a better effect of energy dissipation in the room at the first reflections.
In the Booth we reached a total RT of 0,12 s. Total of 3 diffusors QRD 2D N17 on two parallel walls, tuned for 943 Hz and one more on a ceiling an octave higher in the range N13.
Recording room
For Recordings we provide mikrofony dynamiczne i pojemnościowe: Shure SM7B, Neumann TLM-103, Sontronics Mercury, Sontronics Podcast Pr.
It is possible to send a signal through preamp Heritage Audio 81 HA. In our analog track we also have SSL Fusion, który świetnie sprawdza based on all kinds of groups, a highly precise replica of the Pultec EQP-1A (Dual Mono/ Stereo!) built in DIY style, and Wes Audio Dione or Bus Compressor.
For vocal recordings we also have Universal Audio 1176 compressor and desser DBX DS520.
Hardware and equipment
In the audio studio you will find a lot of analogs, integrated with two Universal Audio sound cards with a total power of 16 cores. Everything is recorded on the Macintosh system, in which we find 32 GB RAM, a high-end I7 3.8 core processor. We listen on Eve SC305 and Eve TS110. We Also have Avantone Mixcube for mix check.
Music production equipment
For Music Production we use Maschine MK3, Komplete A25 and two analog synths - Nord Lead A1 and Korg MS-20. We also have available effect module Lexicon MX200 (works great for tracking during recordings!)
In our studio we work on Logic Pro X, Ableton, and Reaper. We use plug-ins from Universal Audio, Izotope, Fabfilter, Telefonony, Slate Digital, SSL, Soundtoys, Native Instruments, Arturia and many others.
